5 Best Face Packs for Oily Skin

Thursday, July 09, 2015

Having an oily skin is one of the worst things that can ever happen to you. It's difficult to maintain and care for oily skin because high production of sebum washes away all your efforts to control oil making your face appear dull and tired.

Most of the beauty and makeup products fail to work on oily skin. However, there are some natural remedies that can control your unstoppable oil production to some extent and today I'm going to sum up those face packs specially for oily skin. Using these face packs regularly will make a big difference to your skin.

1. Multani Mitti (Fuller's Earth) face pack
Mix multani mitti with rose water and make a paste. Apply this on your face and keep it for 10-15 minutes, after that rinse off by gently massaging it. Don't wait until it dries.

2. Mango Face Pack
Take a mango slice and scoop out some pulp. Make a paste of it and apply directly to your face massaging it in circular motions. After 15-20 minutes wash your face well. Mango opens up your face pores allowing them to breathe.

3. Nourishing Egg Face Pack
Break an egg and separate the yolk (yellow part) and egg white. Now take the yolk and with the help of a face pack brush or cotton, apply it all over face and neck. Keep it on for 10 minutes and then wash. It keeps the skin healthy and less oily.

4. Banana Honey Face Pack
Mash a half banana and add few drops of honey in it. Apply this paste on your face for 10-15 minutes. Wash with cold water. Banana also removes tanning and honey hydrates the skin.

5. Aloe Vera Face Pack
Cut a fresh aloe vera leaf and apply it directly on your face. Rub it for 5 minutes and then leave it on for 10 minutes. Wash face afterwards. Aloe vera cools the skin from within and controls oil well.

  4. I am using orange face pack for my oily skin. You can also use orange pulp, juice or the peels. Dry the peels and make a fine powder out of it.Store the orange peels powder and use it as a component for making face packs. Orange is rich in vitamin C, which aids in fighting aging signs, improves texture of the skin, fights tanning and gives you a fairer skin. Oranges also decrease oil from the skin, reduces blemishes and dead skin cells.
