Nivea Lip Butter Blueberry Blush : ReviewSaturday, March 05, 2016
Let me tell you a secret - I'm a sucker of lip balms. My lips can't do without them so I always have at least 2-3 of them with me. But today I'm talking about lip butters, which are bit different then lip balms. Their formula is slightly more moisturizing and buttery than a lip balm. I'll be reviewing a lip butter which I'm loving these days - Nivea Lip Butter in Blueberry Blush. I'll tell you why it's so good.
Price: Rs. 200/- for 16.7 g (Available in discount online)
Nivea lip butter comes in a cute purple tin with blueberries printed on the cap. It can be opened by screwing the cap or just by pulling it. I absolutely adore this beautiful packaging and this was one of the reasons for getting it.
My Experience: Upon opening this tin, I could smell a faint fragrance of blueberries. It contains the goodness of shea butter, castor oil and sweet almond oil which are natural lip moisturizers. To me, it's a little tin of happiness. It has smooth, buttery texture. Many would find this tub packaging unhygienic as one has to take it out with a finger but I don't really mind it. If it's cute it's worth it!
It glides on lips like butter. It doesn't impart a super shiny look but just a bit of glossiness. After applying it, my lips look healthy and hydrated. I wear it under my lipstick or even top of it to achieve fuller looking lips. It heals chapped lips overnight. It gives my lips the needed moisture and stays on like for 5-6 hours without eating. Even after eating, it doesn't lose its intensity. It's fragrance fades slowly. It has a huge quantity so it's going to last me long. Also I'd love to try other variants of this lip butter.
● Keeps lips moisturized for longer hours.
● Heals chapped lips overnight.
● Has a sweet fragrance of blueberries.
● Super buttery texture
● Light formula that doesn't feel heavy on lips.
● Packaging may seem unhygienic to many.
Final Word: I love this lip butter by Nivea! I recommend this if you want smooth and healthy lips. I also noticed that it contains less chemicals so it really heals dry and chapped lips naturally. It gives the right amount of moisture to lips plus it smells heavenly.
Have you tried this lip butter by Nivea? What's your favorite lip butter?
