Tresemme Split Remedy Shampoo : Review

Monday, March 14, 2016

Hi lovelies! These days weather is being very unstable and even in Spring, there's a hot blaring sun outside which has forced me to stay indoors. And then suddenly comes rain with pouring hail stones all over. I wish I could enjoy spring the way it is!
Enough with that blabbering, my hair has gone crazy too with split ends. I'm facing this problem since I've decided to grow my hair long and weather has made it even worse so here comes a rescue - Tresemme Split Remedy Split Rescue shampoo which I've been using past few days. Keep reading my review to know more...

Price: Rs. 90 for 85 ml

Shelf Life: 2 years

Ingredients:

Tresemme Split Remedy Shampoo comes in a black bottle with a green press-open cap. All of their shampoos and conditioners come packaged this way.

My Experience: I picked up this small bottle to see how it works on my hair. I have oily scalp with dry ends so I'm picky about shampoos.
Shampoo is in white color with medium-runny consistency. It smells fruity as usual. I take a dime size product for my upper half portion of hair and then another dime size for the lower half. It lathers well and I could feel the cleansing effect. It gets rinsed easily. I wrote a post on How to wash your hair correctlyyou can check it out.

My hair doesn't feel rough while rinsing away and rather feels soft and warm. I don't feel the need to use conditioner afterwards. It's good for all hair types and lasts for 3-4 days but for oily hair one would need to wash one day before the usual washing regime. After one wash, I notice less split ends and when I used it regularly they became rarely noticeable. Though this is temporary but my hair loves it!

Pros:
● Lathers richly.
● Cleanses dirt and grime away without being harsh.
● Has a fruity fragrance that lingers on for 1-2 days.
● Works on split ends if used consistently.

Cons:
● Contains lot of chemicals.

Final Word: I love the result it gives even if it contains harmful chemicals. I can see lesser split ends in the first wash itself. If you have normal or dry hair, you'll like it.
