Omved Tulsi Face Mask Review

The first thing I noticed in this mask was that it was an ayurvedic face mask. It was free of paraben, sulfates, silicones, petrochemicals, glycols, phthalates, synthetic colors and perfumes. Looking at the ingredients list I could say that it is 100% safe for skin. It claims to prevent acne and remove blemished skin. It comes in a powder form which smells like henna powder with a herbal smell. The powder is finely milled with tiny coarse exfoliants. It reminded me of the herbal powder shampoo I used for my hair in childhood days. Personally, I'm not a fan of this smell but can't ignore the fact that it's natural.

I take a tablespoon of this powder and mix it with 2 tablespoons of water in a bowl. Then it forms a paste which is not too thick or too thin. When applying on the face the coarse powder lightly exfoliates the skin so I use it as a mild scrub then leave it to dry. In first initial seconds it feels stingy but after that, it feels cool on face due to the presence of Mint and Tulsi. It takes 15-20 minutes for the mask to completely dry. When the mask feels stretchy it's time to wash it off. It washes off easily leaving no trace and I'm left with bright and clean skin. The smell of this face mask stays on for few hours and my skin feels a cooling sensation. I noticed that this face mask highlighted my whiteheads on the nose and it made easy to remove them out with an extractor. It didn't dry out my oily skin. I would use it more and expect long lasting results.

  • Contains natural ingredients
  • Free from chemicals and preservatives
  • Leaves a cool sensation on skin

  • Is pricey for the quantity
  • Not everyone will like its smell

Final Word: I would recommend this face mask for ladies who prefer all natural face masks on their skin. It's a nice face mask for oily and combination skin and dry skin beauties can also give it a try provided they use a moisturizer afterward. Mint cools down the skin so it would help prevent breakouts or acne. You might find it pricey for the quantity but 100% natural ingredients make it worth the price.

  5. Tulsi is great for skin. Once in a while a natural mask is a must. True that this is bit pricey but it's okay if it shows results. Nice review. 😘

  6. That's actually a lot of price for a lot less quantity, IMO. However, I'm glad it is All Natural owing to its powdered appearance. That said, I'd have evaluated it differently, albeit more stringently. To each his own, after all 😄
